The platformer/JRPG crossover is going to launch on PC, PS3, PS4, X360, XOne and Wii U. New trailer below.
Child of Light is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and is based on the UbiArt Framework engine we already saw in action in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, games so visually appealing they make Crysis 3 look like Pong. Well, that’s not completely true, but Ubi Rayman games are quite lovely and fun. Anyway, here are some of Child of Lights features, presented in an orderly manner:
- Classic RPG turn based combat
- 600 crafting combinations
- Deep crafting system (note: supposedly, the crafting system in Child of Light is gonna be lifted from Far Cry 3)
- Villages to explore
- 216 skills to unlock
- 2 players coop.
