To be more precise, the upcoming virtual reality adventure is going to feature support for Virtuix’s multi-directional motion platform, Omni.
Loading Human now truly “fulfills all of the needs of Virtual Reality” as it is already designed for the Oculus Rift headset and motion-based controllers like the Sixense STEM and Razer Hydra or the YEI Technology PrioVR full body motion suit. I don’t know why but it seems like that game is going to be incredibly hilarious in the best possible way. As for Omni, the video above explains how that contraption works. Spoiler: it’s magic (not really).
Anyway, back to Loading Human, which actually sounds like a pretty neat project. Here’s what the devs from Untold Games say about the game:
Loading Human’s story is deeply connected with the gameplay. You will play a story that will evolve around you and your actions. It is quite a unique type of game, that merges virtual reality, point ‘n click adventure design and motion-controlled interactions to give you the most immersive narrative experience you’ve ever lived.
According to its Kickstarter, “Loading Human will be released for Windows and Mac OS as soon as the consumer versions of the Oculus Rift will be mass marketed (we expect Q1 2015).”
